Our Story
Luminosity Behavioral Health Services Inc. was founded in 2010. Our Mission is to provide culturally-based high-quality community-based mental health and addiction services, to meet the unique needs of adults, adolescents, children, and families. We have a diverse multi-cultural staff and provide services in Spanish, Haitian, French Creole, Russian, Cape Verdean, and Portuguese.

Luminosity is proud to be accredited by The Joint Commission on Accreditation. The Joint Commission conducts accreditation surveys of organizations to determine their compliance with nationally established Joint Commission standards. These standards deal with organizational quality, safety-of-care issues, and the safety of the environment in which care is provided.
Accepted Insurance
We accept nearly all commercial health plans (e.g., Blue Cross, Tufts, Aetna, United Healthcare, etc). Most health plans require a co-pay or co-insurance. This is the amount that you pay for each service. Many plans also have deductibles. This means you are required to pay all the costs of your care until you have reached the deductible amount. We also serve people who have insurance through MassHealth (Beacon Health, MBHP, Commonwealth Care, Value Options, etc).

We are contracted with many Employee Assistance Programs, which provide a set amount of therapy sessions but require no co-pay.
